Every computer connected to the Internet is assigned a unique IP (Internet Protocol) address, a numerical identifier similar to a personal identification number. This numerical identifier can be permanently or temporarily assigned to a computer. Also, a single computer can have more than one IP address.

For example, Unlimited Hosting's websites are located on a computer with the IP address 50.22.97.98, so when you enter "www.unlimitedhosting.me" in your browser, you are actually requesting the computer at the IP address 50.22.97.98 to serve our website.
