A domain can be translated as an area and represents the highest logical division on the Internet. Domains are divided into 'ccTLD' (country code top-level domain) domains, each assigned to a specific country — for example, Montenegro has '.me' as its ccTLD.

There are also generic domains that are not assigned to a specific country, such as .com, .net, .org, etc.
