Through cPanel, it is possible to create a complete backup of the website content, download a backup of the home directory, download a backup of MySQL databases (if you have them), download configured email forwarders and filters for individual email addresses, and restore data from these created backups.

Full Website Content Backup

1. On the cPanel homepage, find and click on the "Backups" icon.
2. In the opened interface, click the button "Download or Generate a Full Website Backup."
3. In the newly opened interface, from the "Backup Destination:" dropdown menu, select the "Home Directory" option. This will upload a compressed file with the entire website backup to your web space, from where you can then download it to your computer. For other options, additional data entry is required, and these options are typically used by more advanced users.

Home Directory Backup

1. On the cPanel homepage, find and click on the "Backups" icon.
2. In the opened interface, click the "Home Directory" button.
3. Afterward, an interface will open where you need to confirm the download of the file containing the backup of your home directory to your computer.

MySQL Database Backup

1. On the cPanel homepage, find and click on the "Backups" icon.
2. In the opened interface, click on the link with the name of the MySQL database. The link with the MySQL database name will only be visible if you have created a MySQL database within your user account.
3. After clicking the database name link, an interface will open where you need to confirm the download of the file containing the backup of the selected MySQL database to your computer.

To restore data from files created by any of the previously mentioned methods, simply go to the "Backups" menu interface, click on the "Browse" button, select the file with the backup data from your computer, and start the restoration procedure by clicking the "Upload" button.
Since there are two "Browse" buttons, if the file is a backup of the home directory, click the "Browse" button under "Restore a Home Directory Backup." If the file contains a MySQL database backup, click the "Browse" button under "Restore a MySQL Database."
